Notes: This is Historic Britain is the last and probably weakest in the This is series. There are few illustrations of people but lots of historic buildings. Sasek was a great draughtsman so the illustrations are technically excellent, and if you have an interest in historic Britain they are highly recommended, but if, like me, you have an interest in Sasek and his distinctive style it is least evident in this book.
