This is Australia (1970)
Sasek swings Down Under, arriving not in chains, as the first British colonists did, but in a Qantas big bird which - unlike the Australian penguin and emu - flies very well indeed. - sleeve notes.
Notes: The seventeenth book is the series has Sasak visiting a land down under. It is characteristic of the later books in the series in that the colours are slightly more dull and there are fewer pictures of people, and more pictures of places. Still it is a solid tour of a big and interesting country and well worth adding to the collection.
